Dr. Tang holds a MD, Ph.D.in Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, has 11 years training in Chinese and Western Medicine in Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Peking Union Medical College in China.

Previous Chair of Acupuncture in New York College of Health Professions in NY. Teaching Professor in Acupuncture, Herbs Medicine, Taichi & Qi Gong at Acupuncture & Massage College in Miami; Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in fort Lauderdale, Florida, and American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Minnesota. He has published 40 papers and 10 books and has been the editor-in-chief of International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture (Allerton Press, NY) since 2005.

Applying multiple techniques for patients, including acupuncture, Herbs Medicine, moxibustion, Guasha, cupping, Taiji, Qigong and dietary therapy.
